AWARE is a project LIFE environment coordinated by the CEMAGREF of Montpellier. This project consists in collecting the plant health data of treatment in an automatic way, using an embarked module coupled to a GPS. These data are transmitted automatically to a computing system which will treat them and to interpret them thanks to a method of calculating patented by the CEMAGREF.

The data thus collected will be used for better knowing the impact of the treatments carried out on the ground water of the catchment area of Neffies (Herault 34) and, with the vine growers to better control the applications of their pesticides.

The system is related on a software of graphic treatment and the software of VitiTrace traceability. The vine growers of the cellar of Neffies will be able to follow their traceability and to interpret the results of their passages in the vines.
